Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade and hand painted ceramics, so you may expect minor distinctions that will make your purchase or your very own pottery painted item special and truly one of a kind. "I am inspired by nature, specifically wildflowers, trees, and wildlife. I have always been fascinated with the ‘imprint’ of nature in various forms–fossils, photographs, and cyanotypes (blueprints). I smile as I ponder at my attempt to preserve its ephemeral beauty. I have had the immense joy of revealing fossils in archaeological digs. I see this love of the ‘imprint’ in my current work in cyanotype and ceramic.”
